Scott’s Bio
He is a 1983 graduate of the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie-Mellon University and a 1993 graduate of Widener University School of Law, where he was a two-year member of the Moot Court Honor Society. Mr. Feldman is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey State and Federal Courts, and in 1998, was admitted and qualified before the Supreme Court of the United States.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Feldman enjoyed a successful management career in the retail home furnishings industry. He wore many hats for Furniture Unlimited in Quakertown, PA, including Sales Manager, Store Manager, Merchandise Buyer and Vice President of Operations. Among his many accomplishments was opening its first satellite store, Furniture Unlimited Bedrooms, in 1985. In doing so, he literally wrote the manual for future store expansions. Mr. Feldman later oversaw the consolidation of the growing company’s shipping, receiving and customer service operations into a newly constructed 60,000 square foot Distribution Center.
In 1990, at age 28, Mr. Feldman surprised his family, friends and co-workers by walking away from the retail furniture business. Having already achieved many of his financial and personal goals, Mr. Feldman decided to challenge himself academically and professionally by enrolling in law school.
On the day that he passed the bar exam in November, 1993, Mr. Feldman signed a Lease for office space and “hung out his shingle” in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. He has remained in the vicinity of the Bucks County Courthouse for the past twenty-nine years and has successfully represented hundreds of clients throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Mr. Feldman was a part of Bucks County legal history when in 1996, in his very first jury trial, Mr. Feldman managed to select Judge Michael Kane as one of his jurors. As reported by The Philadelphia Inquirer, no sitting Judge had ever served on a jury before.
Mr. Feldman is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Bucks County Bar Associations. From 2007 to 2010, he served as Chair of the Bucks County Bar Association’s Lawyer Referral Service Committee, and continues to serve as a committee member. From 2014 to 2019, he was the Editor of its quarterly magazine, “The Writs”, and continues to regularly contribute insightful content. In 2016, he was appointed to served on the Bucks County Bar Association Board of Directors.
Mr. Feldman is in demand as a speaker, having presented seminars for the Bucks County Bar Association, Lorman Education Services and the People’s Law School at Bucks County Community College. He has lectured on Consumer Law, Collection Law in Pennsylvania, Advanced Judgment Enforcement in Pennsylvania and Landlord and Tenant Law.
Mr. Feldman is an active member of the community, having served on the Board of Trustees at Temple Judea of Bucks County. He is a past President of the Remington Oaks Condominium Association in Chalfont. He has coached youth soccer in the Warrington Soccer Club.
He enjoys skiing, scuba diving, and attending sporting events and concerts. He loves spending time with his wife and son and their Goldendoodle, “Utley”.
